Who We Are

EPS TOPIK UBT PH is an educational mobile app created by Vitelle Apps to help Filipino workers practice for the EPS-TOPIK UBT exam.

Summary

The app can be used without creating an account. Most learning progress is stored locally on your device. If online sync is enabled for a build, some app data may be sent to our server so progress, feedback, and entitlements can be synced.

Data Stored On Your Device

• Nickname and avatar selection
• Optional custom avatar image reference chosen from your photo library
• Exam history, practice history, scores, answers, timing, and timestamps
• Card collection and study progress
• No-ads entitlement state after activation or purchase
• A randomly generated userId used for syncing and support

Data Sent To Our Server If Online Sync Is Enabled

Depending on the build configuration, we may receive the following:

• userId (random id, not your real name)
• Profile information such as nickname, avatar choice, and setup state
• Exam attempts and practice history, including mode, score, correct or wrong counts, duration, answers, and timestamps
• Card collection progress and no-ads entitlement status
• Linked Google email/name if you choose to submit feedback
• Feedback messages and optional screenshots you choose to submit
• Successful rewarded-ad and in-app-purchase events, including provider, placement, product id, transaction id, and revenue amount when available
• Basic device and app metadata such as platform, platform version, app version, device name, runtime environment, and session identifiers
• Network metadata such as IP address and user agent for abuse prevention, security, and diagnostics

We do not require your passport number, government ID, or employment records to use the app.

Ads and Purchases

The free version of the app may show ads, including banner ads and rewarded ads. In production builds, ads may be served through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob, which may collect or receive device identifiers, app interaction data, diagnostics, and other information needed to deliver and measure ads under their own policies.

If a paid "No Ads" product is offered in the future, it will be handled through the official app store billing system. We do not ask users to send payment card details directly to us inside the app.

Permissions

• Photos and media access (optional): used only to let you choose a custom avatar image or attach a screenshot to feedback

How We Use Data

• To save your profile, scores, and study progress
• To restore your data on later app sessions
• To sync progress and entitlements when online features are enabled
• To respond to feedback and improve app quality
• To serve and measure ads in the free version
• To protect the app from abuse, fraud, and technical failures

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the app, such as:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers used for online sync and API delivery
• Google AdMob or other approved ad providers used to serve ads
• Analytics, logging, or security services used to detect abuse and keep the service reliable

Retention and Deletion

Local data stays on your device until you clear it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

Server-side data, when online sync is enabled, may be retained for a limited time as needed for syncing, support, analytics, fraud prevention, and legal or security obligations. If you want help deleting synced data, contact us and include your app userId if available.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data we process. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and limit access where appropriate.

Children

This app is designed for exam preparation and job-related study, and is not directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time when the app or our data practices change. The latest version will always be posted at this page.
